MAJOR SPOILER ALERT: Arrow is currently in between seasons but that does not mean the drama has to stop. The Red Arrow himself, Colton Haynes recently opened up about what is in store for Roy Harper in Season 3. The Teen Wolf actor opened up about all the women he has had to hit over the course of the show, as well as if we see Arsenal square off against Thea.
When we last left Starling CIty it was in shambles. Roy Harper had finally donned the mask of The Red Arrow, and his lady love, Thea Queen (Merlin) ran away with her father the Dark Archer. Now Colton Haynes is opening up about the effect that the roller coaster year will have on Harper, telling Entertainment Weekly:
“Roy’s like an emotional wreck. I think that in the future, Roy is just going to go down, now he’s a hero so it’s almost a heroic path, but I think he’s going to go down a path of lies.”
With Thea taking a turn the towards the dark side, the big question is if we see Ray vs Thea in Season 3. Haynes also opened up on weather Thea will turn evil and if he will have to take her out:
“It’s looking a little like that’s going to happen, but in true Arrow fashion, you have no idea. You can go from killing someone to crying and being very warm-hearted….Here’s the thing: I beat up like three girls this season and no one said anything about it. Everyone’s like, ‘You’re awesome, you’re a badass.’ Not one comment has been, ‘You do not hit women.’ I think I’d let her win.”
Haynes also teased that he almost ready to take on the official role of sidekick:
“He’s still working towards it, but you are going to see something in the premiere of season three that’s going to up his status a little bit.”
