‘Fast and Furious 7’ Cast Update: Paul Walker Autopsy Alive After Crash; Brother Cody Signs Sequel Contract; Jordan Brewster Retires [SPOILERS]

It seems the Fast franchise is set for another big shake-up. It is being widely reported that Paul Walker's brother will be replacing his big bro in not only Fast and Furious 7 but any future sequels as well. There has been no information as to the details of the contract, but it seems definite that Cody will be a permanent replacement on the cast following the tragic car accident that killed Paul, whose autopsy revealed was still alive immediately after the crash. There is no word as to whether or not Jordan Brewster will be retiring from the franchise along with Paul's character, but it sure looked like she was saying goodbye to Vin Diesel in his recent on-set Facebook photo updates.

It has been announced that Cody Walker will be replacing his brother Paul in the Fast and Furious crew for several films yet to come, but don't worry it isn't as bad as it sounds.

Paul's little bro won't be pretending to be the body while computer experts morbidly CGI on Brain O'Conner head, thank god.

According to a source in the Daily Mail, Cody is going to be replacing Paul in the more traditional sense, though apparently the word "replace" is still a little touchy on set:

"Paul's character Brian O'Conner will be seen retiring, while his younger brother will join the crew.

"Of course, Cody isn't a replacement for Paul in any way, but the producers were really grateful that he stepped in to help them finish this last film and Cody so likeable and charming.

"It would be a tribute to Paul that Cody carries on the Walker name in the Fast and The Furious movies."

A tribute that happens to pay tens of millions of dollars.

If Vin Diesel's recent Facebook photo from behind the scenes of the latest film is any indication, Jordan Brewster may also be retiring from the film.

The moment seems so heartfelt that some are speculating that it is Jordan's farewell scene, but you have to remember that Vin is really just into photo of people hugging.

Perhaps he had an unhappy childhood--or a far too happy one?
