Married Ellen DeGeneres and Wife Portia De Rossi Divorce Split: Lied About Relationship with Parents After Coming Out? [RUMORS UPDATE]

For months now Ellen DeGeneres has been denying that she and wife Portia de Rossi are planning to divorce. The day time talk show host even went as far as addressing the split rumors on her show, claiming that their marriage was as healthy as ever. Well, it seems Ellen might know something about lying about relationships. Star Magazine has announced that Ellen seems to have allowed her mom Betty to exaggerate a little about the family fisher caused by her coming out to her parents almost forty years ago. Ellen's father Elliot swears that he loves his Hollywood lesbian daughter, and always has.

According to last week's Star Magazine Ellen mother wasn't exactly completely honest about DeGeneres' relationship with her father, Elliot and his wife Virginia:

"Betty, wrote that Elliott couldn't handle it when Elle came out to the family in the 1970's and that his new wife, Virginia, even kicked their daughter out of their home.

"But...Elliot said that wasn't true and that he prouder of his superstar daughter."

Ellen's father Elliot is reportedly very shy, but did take time to go on the record with Star, in order to set the record straight about her feeling about his daughter:

"I love her very, very, very much...Everything is fine between us.

"I see her all the time."

Virginia, who Betty claimed was the driving force behind Ellen's being driven out, told Star that she completely accepts her step-daughter's lifestyle choice and is pretty sure god does too:

"She lives the life of a Christian--you know, loving for everyone, caring for everyone.

"She affects people all over the world...She's so kind to people who are ill and those who are needy."

Well...regardless of who is bending the truth or not...no one can really be surprised the Queen of Nice gets along with her parents.
