‘Fast and Furious 7’ Cast Update: Paul Walker Autopsy Alive After Crash; Vin Diesel Production Problems; Filming Final Scene? [VIDEO UPDATE]

Fast and Furious 7 is finally nearing completion, with Universal putting out one last casting call for the extra filled final scenes set to be shoot July 7. Production on the franchise's latest offering ground to an abrupt stop in late November following the tragic automobile accident that killed Fast cast's biggest star, Paul Walker, whose autopsy update revealed was still alive immediately following the devastating crash. There have been recent rumors that Vin Diesel's on-set diva antics have been slowing down production once again, but Universal producers on Fast 7 were quick to announce that Vin has been leader not a whiner on-set.

Reports began to surface on the internet last week, that Fast and Furious 7 action star Vin Diesel was slowing down production on the film by acting like a petulant child.

An insider told the Hollywood Reporter that Vin had been showing his ass for weeks just because he could:

"Vin spent a whole day in his trailer one day...The next day, they waited four hours for him.

"He called a meeting [May 28] of studio execs to his trailer for two-and-a-half hours to say, 'What the f- am I doing here?'"

Universal chairman Donna Langley issued an official statement since the reports first appeared--defending Diesel as a man among men:

"This production is working through some challenges that are historically unprecedented.

"The crew and cast, led by Vin, have been nothing but terrific under these circumstances."

Whatever the case may be, Diesel bullying doesn't seem to have slowed down filming too much; it has just been announced that the Fast and Furious 7 is searching for 600 extras so they can shoot the film's final scene July 7 (via EnStarz):

"As the last leg of filming for Fast and Furious 7 is currently underway in Los Angeles, there seems to be a demand for extras at the last minute.

"The agency is looking for men and women aged 18-30, 'all ethnicities, all shapes and sizes.'"

Don't worry about a thing; Fast and Furious 7 is still set to hit theater April 15, of next year...if Vin Diesel doesn't ruin it for everyone first.
