Former Lost star Naveen Andrews has been cast in the upcoming Netflix original series Sense8 following the cancellation of Once Upon A Time in Wonderland. The new show spans the globe connecting eight people mentally. The show also stars former Doctor Who and Torchwood actress Freema Agyeman.
Naveen Andrews is the latest cast member to join the all new multinational series Sense8. The upcoming Netflix original series will take viewers around the globe and into the minds of eight stranger who are all mentally linked.
According to the show’s IMDB page, the official plot synopsis for the upcoming series reads:
“A group of people around the world are suddenly linked mentally, and must find a way to survive being hunted by those who see them as a threat to the world's order.”
The series Showrunner J. Michael Straczynski recently revealed some plot details about the new show, telling Deadline:
“The series follows eight characters around the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally. They can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other’s deepest secrets. Not only must they figure out what happened and why and what it means for the future of humanity, they must do so while being hunted by an organization out to capture, kill or vivisect them.”
