iPhone 5S Photos leaked? Expected to Hit the Market Next Year (SEE PHOTOS)

A French website is adding even more fuel to rumors that Apple is in development of the new iPhone 5S which will reportedly be released in 2013.

The iPhone 5S blip was first seen on the French website nowhereelse.fr on Wednesday and it shows case numbers of iPhone 5S prototypes with unfamiliar markings giving some indication that this is the new Apple phone.

"From the background, it seems that the pictures were taken at the assembly line of an operation stage," the administrator writes. "The photographer has showed the front and rear side of the housing, which looks very similar to the iPhone 5. However, the reason why we say it is a suspected iPhone 5s rear housing is that the specific information below the logo, which are replaced by 'X.' Usually, the parts with 'X' stand for test prototype."

All of the photos are shot at a fairly close range but rumors of the new phone surfaced earlier in the year when the Chinese-language publication The Chronicle Times circulated a story from Digitimes.

Steven Shen of Digitimes said that the new Apple device is in the early developments of production and the will start crafting the new iPhones in December and now the French website has given some photographic evidence.

Some experts were doubting the story the Washington Post wrote.

"There are several things about this report that don't match up with Apple's usual production schedules. For the past two years, iPhones have come out in the fall, while iPad models have debuted in the spring. Before that, Apple announced new models of the iPhone in the summer at the Worldwide Developers conference (though the Verizon iPhone 4 and the white iPhone 4 came out later than the initial model)," this according to the Washington Post.

TechCrunch also weighed in, saying the smartphone market is to saturated and competitive for manufactures to just wait around.

"Apple's competitors in the smartphone market don't adhere to annual updates; Samsung, HTC and countless other Android OEMs push out new and updated phones with increasing frequency, and even iterate on old models with carrier specific variants and modified versions of the original that promise more connectivity, improved storage and more," said TechCrunch.

It was reported that the Apple would do a trial run of the iPhone 5S and were set to crank out initial volumes of the device in the range of 50,000 to 100,000 units.
