Rumors are once again flying that Faith Hill and Tim McGraw could be headed towards divorce. Now a new report suggests that Tim's heavy drinking has led to a million dollar breakup.
Tim and Faith just can't catch a break-even with all of their disgusting hands-on PDA. For some reason, the tabloids keep insisting that Tim and Faith are getting ready to call it quits.
This week's report comes courtesy of The National Enquirer, a publication somehow less reputable than The Onion. But according to one "source" who spoke with the publication, Faith intervened with Tim's constant partying (via Celeb Dirty Laundry):
"She wasn't going to stand by while he killed himself. Tim begged Faith not to leave him - within days, he quit drugs and alcohol cold turkey! Faith began calling the shots in his life and staged an intervention - telling him what he needed to do if he wanted to keep his family together."
This isn't the first report to suggest that Faith is somewhat controlling. This is particularly true with the June 16 edition of Star.
One source tells the tabloid that Faith recently went on a power trip, firing the majority of Tim's bandmates and staff. According to the insider, Tim was left completely emasculated:
"Faith let go of Tim's longtime assistant and right-hand man, with who he'd been best friends for years, a guy Tim's daughter looked up to like an uncle. Faith also fired five members of Tim's backup band, the Dancehall Doctors-some of whom had been with Tim from before he even had a record deal...It was like Faith had totally emasculated Tim and it was heartbreaking."
Of course, the tabloids have been wrong in the past, and recent interviews with Tim and Faith suggest these allegations are false as well. In fact, Tim doesn't have enough kind things to say about Faith, who he describes as changing his life.
