Colin Kaepernick Sexual Assault: Police Deny Claims of Tampering In Miami Rape Case

The investigation of Colin Kaepernick, which has been thrown out by Miami police, was tainted by corrupt cops according to Jayniece Prichette, the alleged victim of sexual assault. The authorities deny any claims of tampering, saying that all evidence and inquiry were handled by the book. Prichette, however, seems to think that in the case of professional athletes, the cops let them get away with rape.

Kaepernick was never charged with any crime as investigators found no evidence of wrongdoing. Prichette, who was reportedly hallucinating at the time police arrived on the night of the alleged incident, now claims that the corrupt city officials colluded to cover up Kaepernick's alleged wrongdoing by tampering with evidence. Authorities in Miami strongly deny this (via TMZ):

"But a spokesperson for the Miami PD tells us the cops NEVER handled any of the medical tests or the rape-kit -- insisting that evidence was collected by medical personnel at a rape treatment center. The rep says cops never laid a hand on the evidence ... and only learned the results of the tests when the rape center contacted them with the information."

Kaepernick, who has consistently denied all allegations, says he is going to exercise extreme caution from now on. San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh recently encouraged all his players to be careful in the off-season to avoid trouble and controversy (via SF Gate):

"'Beware with whom you associate,' Harbaugh said, relating what he had told his team. 'It's very important to know your surroundings. Friend or foe? There always seems to be a foe present.

"'Get in a good football position and be ready for anything coming at you. Be able to see around corners, see under doors, anticipate. And, mainly, surround yourself with good people.'"
