Clifford Odet's Broadway play "Golden Boy," in the hands of director Bartlett Sher is winning over many fans and critics with excellent performances from the cast.

"Golden Boy," is the story of the son of an Italian immigrant who has dreams of becoming a violinist and realizes that it can become true if he steps into a boxing ring. The young man finds himself torn between his musical career and the chance of fame and fortune he can get if he continues to box. It comes with a danger because the more he boxes the better chance he has of hurting his hands and his violin aspirations could end.
