It turns out no one can be trusted on ABC's Bachelor franchise. Word has it that Season 10 2014 Bachelorette Andi Dorfman, who is a prosecuting atouney trained to pinpoint deception within people, was fooled into thinking that contestants Marcus Grodd and Chris Soules were straight shooters until their sordid criminal pasts reportedly surfaced to their mutual chagrin. Then there is tricky Season 18 Bachelor Juan Pablo and his season winner girlfriend Nikki Ferrell to consider. Despite trying to keep things low-key the couple accidently revealed that they were engaged, via Twitter, following reports that the duo were joining VH1's Couple's Therapy and were prepared to split. But the ring on Nikki's wedding finger can't be argued with or blamed on any kind of language barrier.
Andi Dorfman hasn't had the easiest go at being ABC's Bachelorette this year.
Apparently the former Atlanta Assistant D.A. isn't as good a judge of character as she might like to think that she is according to a production insider cited in OK! Magazine July 14, print edition:
"Marcus [Grodd]'s shy demeanor painted an innocent portrait to Andi.
"Learning that he has a history with drugs will really throw her off.
"She thought Marcus was a stand-up guy."
And according to the source that is the only contestant who ran afoul of the law that made it past Andi's radar:
"Chriss [Soules] really wooed Andi with all of those love letters.
"He's put on a great act, but once Andi learns about the true Chris, she'll be devastated.
"She would never believe he has such a wild side with alcohol."
It would be nice to blame everything of the guys, but the way the informant puts confidential informant puts it--Andi is the only one worth blaming on this one:
"Andi's extremely smart when it comes to her job, but with love she has blinders on.
"Andi simply can't handle the truth.
"She has no one to blame but herself.
"She needs to buck up and quit trusting men so easily."
Juan Pablo seems more than just a little bit shady himself, but you can probably trust that since Galavis is hasn't confirmed his engagement to Nikki Ferrell, that it's probably true.
Either way picture don't lie, even if Galavis does.
