'The Illusionists--Witness the Impossible' Will Make Magic on Broadway This Fall

Making an extended stop on its 30-city tour, The Illusionists--Witness the Impossible will touch down at the Marriott Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway) for six weeks this fall and winter. Previews begin November 26, and after a December 4 opening the show will run through January 4, 2015.

Conceived by Simon Painter (Le Grand Cirque, Aerial Dreams, Adrenaline) and directed by Neil Dorward, The Illusionists--Witness the Impossible has been called "brain-bendingly spectacular" by the Daily Telegraph in Sydney, and Australian Stage described it as "incredible, astounding, amusing, mystifying, perplexing, and challenging."

The show is billed as featuring "seven of the most incredible illusionists on earth." These include Yu Ho-Jin, The Manipulator (The Academy of Magical Arts' "Magician of the Year" for 2014); Dan Sperry, The Anti-Conjuror ("Marilyn Manson meets David Copperfield"); the weapon magic of Aaron Crow, The Warrior; and Italy's Houdini-esque master of escape, Andrew Basso.

Painter and Executive Producer Tim Lawson of TML Enterprises are the producers, in association with MagicSpace Entertainment, Road Show Entertainment LLC, and The Production Office. Painter and Lawson are also behind The Illusionists, The Illusionists 2.0 and the upcoming The Illusionists 1903 - The Golden Age of Magic, which premieres in Australia in January 2015.
