Facebook Family Feud ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Alana Explains Mom June Meet and Greet Cancellation [VIDEO NEWS]

TLC's Toddlers and Tiaras' Frankenstein Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompkins and the family seem to be on damage control after mom, Mama June, cancelled a recent meet and greet in Panama City Beach, Florida. According to the recent Facebook news update, newlywed Mama June chose to terminate the get together with friends and fans after the entire Thompson/Shannon clan--save patriarch Sugar Bear--became sick while on vacation. This Florida no-show scandal comes hot on the heels of reports that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was recently deemed too dirty for Britain primetime and a recent Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon family feud.

The Honey Boo Boo clan may have admittedly spent their time relaxing instead of attending their scheduled Sunshine State meet and greet, but they have a good excuse.

Fearing that perhaps folks might get the wrong idea about the hard working McIntyre, Ga. family, Alana took to Facebook to explain that their absence was unavoidable:

"Just wanted to tell people we are sorry for not having [a] meet and greet in PCB."

"Me (Alana) and Jessica, both got bad ear infections 2-days before [we] decided we were going to do the meet and greet, and then my mom got sick.

"So, we spent the [rest] of our time just relaxing.

"We are very sad we didn't get to meet some or ya'll, but we will have a meet and greet soon.

"Not I feel better, but mom and Jessica are still under the weather.

"But we are back in Georgia. And thanks for all the gifts people left for us on the porch while we was gone."

Now, that hardly sounds like the holy-terror that reportedly assaulted her mother on the stage of Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

According to audience member Christy O'Shoney, who spoke with In Touch, Johnny Carson would have been rolling over in his grave if they got cable in hell:

"Alana was fed up and actually struck [her mother] Mama June."

Christy goes on the claim that Jimmy reacted by admonishing Alana for her bad behavior to which, "the audience erupted in applause."

Though another anonymous audience member--perhaps less hungry for attention that O'Shoney--told the publication that nothing like that even came close to happening:

"[Alana] shooed her mom away when she said something embarrassing.

"She did not slap or strike her."

Well...if you can't trust the sources in In Touch, than who the hell can you trust?
