VIDEO: Jackie Evancho Releases "Rains of Castamere" Music Video with Chicago's Manual Cinema in Preparation for 'Awakening' in September

Classicalite featured the latest from Jackie Evancho earlier this month after a cover of the Game of Thrones eerie folk ballad "The Rains of Castamere" hit digital retail outlets. Reception widely praised the album and, of course, the young talent, herself.

To accompany the release, and with the help of Chicago's Manual Cinema for its beautiful aesthetic, a music video has been added to mix and can be found on Evancho's Vevo page.

Again, Evancho's unique cover debuted on Yahoo.com and is available via most digi-providers (iTunes, Amazon MP3 and Spotify). The track will also be available on Jackie's latest album Awakening, which drops September 23 via Sony Music Masterworks imprint Portrait.

The song, "Rains of Castamere," was written by the Game of Thrones series creator George R.R. Martin (lyrics) and Ramin Djawadi (music).

And so with all the hype surrounding Jackie for her upcoming album, one can only hope that the video sustains long enough that she can rest easy and bask in her new album success on September 23. Evancho, who signed to Columba at 10, has certainly got her work cut out for her.

I'll quit jammering, then, and let you readers check out the video below.
