Recently, Liev Schreiber opened up to Hollywood Life about tackling the Ray’s darker side:
“It’s hard. He’s a dark character, and I’ve never been someone who got lost in his character. I never characterized myself in that way. But there’s something unavoidable about going through that every day, 14 hours a day, and I’m just grateful that I have my family to go home to. And kids sort of brighten things up...I think one of the things that appealed to me about doing television is that you’re in the same place for a longer period of time, and so your children can be consistent with a curriculum and be consistent in their social groups…I think that’s important for kids as they grow up.”
