Word has it that cheating country music irrelevancy LeAnn Rimes and her fidelity challenged husband are headed for divorce thanks to their new VH1 reality TV show LeAnn & Eddie. Though it doesn't premiere until July 17, the latest tabloid gossip news updates insist the philanderer is so embarrassed by his wife "redneck ways" that he is ready to split. Looks like LeAnn and Eddie haven't learned from ex-wife Brandi Glanville's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills follies. The reality TV spotlight almost always brings shame and pain--plus six figure checks, of course. The best part of the story is that Rimes reportedly doesn't even care that Eddie is uncomfortable--LeAnn knows he is too poor to ever really end their lucrative marriage.
Word has it that Eddie Cibrian isn't exactly jazzed about the prospect of his entire life with LeAnn Rimes being put on display for the world to see.
According to an insider, who spoke to Life & Style for their July 21 print edition, Eddie couldn't be more upset with all the potential for embarrassment:
"It's nearly broken them up.
"LeAnn's been telling friends that Eddie didn't approve of her behavior on the show...He doesn't even want to promote it.
"She's thinks it's normal to get into bed and burp and fart under the covers and waft it towards Eddie.
"At one point on the show, she says something ridiculous about sex to the kids, and Eddie tries to stop her...He doesn't want his wife to look that way for the world to see."
The source goes on to explain that LeAnn knows Eddie can't leave her in the financial condition he is in; so she does what she wants and dares him to do something about it:
"Eddie is totally mortified be LeAnn's behaviors on their reality show, and she couldn't care less.
"She implies as much when she is drunk...She'll say things like, 'I'm sure you love that Range Rover.'
"The show is her show as far as LeAnn's concerned--she has the final say.
"He's miserable because he knows he has to be at her beck and call, and it shows."
