Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Rob Kardashian has been under attack by the tabloids for quite some time. After weeks of claims that Rob has been using hard drugs and may have a secret lovechild, the reality star now faces rumors that he is secretly gay. These latest claims come after Rob left the Kimye wedding before his sister even said, "I do."
Well, the National Enquirer is back at it. Second only to The Onion in falsified news stories, the publication set its sights on the youngest Kardashian, Rob Kardashian.
The completely discredited tabloid actually suggests that Rob Kardashian is gay and, furthermore, is hooking up with his sister's ex-Lamar Odom. In fact, the tabloid goes so far as to claim that Bruce Jenner, his step-father, may have had an impact on Rob's newfound sexuality (via Jobs & Hire):
"Rob was always a sensitive, soft spoken guy, more comfortable talking fashion than sports. It seems like now all the pieces of the puzzle are finally coming together...Everyone is wondering if this speculation about Bruce sparked Rob to examine his own public sexual identity...Rob has always said he admires Bruce for having the courage to live authentically and honestly. Rob has been talking like a guy ready to unburden himself of a secret."
The report is utterly laughable, but that doesn't mean that Rob isn't facing real problems.
On the July 20 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Rob decides at the last minute that he will not be going on the family vacation. Of course, he doesn't tell anyone in his family about his plans.
Instead of heading out to Thailand with the rest of the Kardashian clan, Rob decides to stay at home. His actions devastate Khloe, as Hollywood Life reveals:
"Skipping family events seems to be a recurring theme with Rob...Rob doesn't show up to the flight at the last minute and Khloe threatens not to go on the trip because of it...Rob Kardashian just doesn't want to be around his family anymore. The reality star has been going through a lot and several people in the family have supported him. The main person has been Khloe Kardashian, so it's a major slap in the face..."
