SPOILER ALERT: Season 10 of The CW series Supernatural is getting ready to begin it looks like it is going to be Sam vs Demon Dean. Recently Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have both opened up about the new season.
Recently Jared Padalecki spoke with Zap2It about how Season 10 of Supernatural will start off:
“When Sam went down to summon Crowley to get his brother back at the end of Season 9, he returned to Dean's room to find his brother gone. Since Sam didn't get a chance to see the episode, he didn't know that Crowley was in there or that Dean woke up a demon. So Sam starts out not having any idea that his brother is a demon. True to the Winchester form, he's going to go through hell and high water to try to get his brother back, wherever his brother is. He doesn't know if he's been taken, or vanished, but he has his suspicions. Sam starts out with the same commitment to bring his brother back that he ended with in Season 9, when he was telling Dean, ‘Stay with me, I'm not going to let you go, I've got you. We'll make it through this.’ Obviously, he didn't, but he's still going to try and keep his promise.”
However, there is hope for Dean. Jensen Ackles recently opened up to Enstarz, about the cure for Demon Dean at Rome's fifth annual Jus In Bello Con:
"There is a possible way, which might be the way that ultimately Sam saves Dean. I don't know that there's another way that we've introduced on the show. Granted, there might be another way. He might get Crowley to talk, he might get another demon to talk or maybe Castiel's got some new-found power with Metatron and his situation. I don't know. There are question marks there about what's going to happen, but there is definitely an option on the table."
Ackles also added that the Mark of Cain will make him stronger than your average demon:
"I don't know if it will work because then again...Dean is probably going to be a little bit more powerful than a regular demon with the Mark of Cain so I don't know how that locks the demon in even more or what. These are all questions that I have as well so I'll be interested to see how the writers play it out."
