Adriaaaan! 'Rocky the Musical' Knocked Out on Broadway, Final Round Coming August 17

Rocky the Musical is over. And the headlines couldn't be any better.

Our favorite, though? "Final Blow: Rocky Musical Set to Close on Broadway" via Broadway.com. ("Looks like the Italian Stallion is down for the count," read the lede, too.) 

Stats so far: 188 regular performances.

Adriaaaan...we hardly knew ya.

Again, both headlines and reviews dogged the musical for its lack or, well, musicality, as well as the show's inability to lure in audiences.

So, when that final curtain call comes on August 17, be prepared for even more fun at Rocky Balboa's expense. 

Here at Classicalite, we love to have fun with titles, too, but, honestly, the closing of Rocky is a joke in and of itself.
