Sara Bareilles’ (“Love Song”) new Broadway musical, 'Waitress', is getting ready to start rehearsals on Monday, February 08. Based on the 2007 movie, Waitress is the first musical to be entirely created by women. The show is scheduled for previews in March and an April opening.

Recently, Miranda announced that a history of 'Hamilton' the Broadway Show would be released. Now thanks to Twitter we are getting our first look at the new book 'Hamilton the Revolution.' Lin-Manuel Miranda’s 'Hamilton' is not just retelling history but it is making it as well. It was announced on Wednesday that the cast of 'Hamilton' will be performing live at the 2016 Grammy Awards. This makes the eighth year in history that musical theater has been broadcast at the ceremonies. Even better, this is the first time that the Grammys will be making their way to Broadway. The Grammys take place in L.A. meaning that Hamilton will be performing via satellite from their own stage at the Richard Rodgers Theater in NYC.
