The previews for the all Broadway production of Arthur Miller’s famed play 'The Crucible' have been pushed back by by one day. Star Saoirse Ronan is up for an Academy Award for her role in the film 'Brooklyn' on the very same night, so the show has decided to let her attend the the ceremonies.

While Josh Groban might take his career seriously, that seems to be about it. The 34-year-old native of L.A. recently joked that he will more than likely need several pairs of underpants to get through his Broadway debut in 'Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812.' In fact, Kat Dennings' jokester of a boyfriend recently revealed that he would love to star in a raunchy foul mouthed comedy someday, but seriously doubts his management team is ever going to allow that to happen.

The musical adaptation of the 2007 film 'Waitress' is gearing up for its big Broadway debut this spring. There is a lot of buzz around Waitress for many reasons but one of the big ones is that the music and lyrics are written by five time Grammy Award nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles. Bareilles is perhaps best known for writing a song about not writing someone a “Love Song.” Many people might not know that Sara Bareilles is a lifelong fan of musical theater and performed in community theater productions of 'Charlotte’s Web' and 'Little Shop of Horrors.] From Skid Row to the Great White Way, Sara has had quite the journey.

Put on some Huey Lewis, wrap your floors in plastic and make sure you have returned any overdue video tapes, because 'American Psycho the Musical' is getting ready to open on Broadway. The musical's book was written by Marvel Comics and 'Glee' writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with music and lyrics by 'Spring Awakening's' Duncan Sheik. The show originally opened in London and stared 'Doctor Who' vet Matt Smith as Patrick Bateman, but it is Benjamin Walker whose name is on the business card for Broadway. The Broadway production will also reunite 'Next to Normal' mother and daughter pair Alice Ripley and Jennifer Damiano respectively.

Lin-Manuel Miranda new musical 'Hamilton' is one of the hottest tickets on Broadway. If you don’t already have tickets to see it, than chances are you will be waiting a good long time before you make in the room. However, you might not be completely out of luck. Hamilton is gearing up to visit stages on the west coast, at SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles as well as a sit down performance at Broadway in Chicago event series at the PrivateBank Theatre. Can’t make it to NYC, LA, San Francisco or Chicago? Well there is still some hope. 'Hamilton' will also be coming to your very own living room….sort of. It was recently announced that PBS’ Great Performances series, will feature a documentary based on the hit show, titled Hamilton’s America, later this fall. A previous documentary on Lin-Manuel Miranda's other hit musical 'In The Heights' titled, 'In The Heights - Chasing Broadway Dreams', also aired as part of 'PBS’ Great Performances' series.

Originating in Blanchett's native Australia and first performed at The Sydney Theater Company, 'The Present' is making its way on over to the Big Apple this fall/winter.

Joining Hayes are David Josefsberg and James Gleason as the Archangels Michael and Gabriel respectively. The show first previewed on Broadway began previews on Broadway at on May 7, 2015, and officially opened on May 28 2015 at the famed Studio 54. The play is based off of David Javerbaum's 2011 book 'The Last Testament: A Memoir By God.'
