'Broadway’s ‘The King and I’ Gets To Know New Anna, Marin Mazzie

The cast of Broadway’s 'The King and I' will soon be getting to know an all new Anna Leonowens. Kelli O’Hara is leaving the hit revival this April and Marin Mazzie will be filling her shoes soon after. Mazzie is known for her roles in Cole Porter's 'Kiss Me, Kate' and Stephen Sondheim's 'Passion,' Mazzie has been absent from the stage recently while fighting breast cancer. Thankfully Mazzie is now in remission and ready to make her return to the Great White Way.

  • 'Tony Winner Kelli O’Hara Named Theatre in Our Schools Spokesman

    Kelli O’Hara has been chosen to be the national spokesman for the Theatre in Our Schools (TIOS) Campaign. The campaign is a joint effort from The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) and the American Alliance for Theatre & Education (AATE). O’Hara will be actively raise public awareness of the value of theatre education & quality programs for all students. O’Hara just might be the perfect person to shine light on the won the 2015 Best Actress in a Musical for her role in 'The King and I.' O’Hara is also up for a Grammy award for Best Musical Theater Album meaning all eyes are bound to be on her.
