James Corden Hosting Tony's: Replacing Neil Patrick Harris, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming & Hugh Jackman >>

The American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League have their new host for 2016 Tony Awards celebration. 'Into the Woods' film actor Late Late Show Host, and Tony Award Winner James Corden has been selected to emcee the evening. Corden is replacing last year’s paired host, Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming (Cabaret, Reefer Madness, film). The bar for Corden gets even higher when compared to host of Tony’s past, Hugh Jackman ('Boy From Oz') and Neil Patrick Harris ('Hedwig and the Angry Inch', 'Assassins'). Both men have won Emmy Awards for hosting the Tony’s. It should be noted that all five the aforementioned actors have won Tony Awards.
