Producer Cameron Mackintosh announced that 'Les Miserables' an epic story based on a novel written by Victor Hugo which took place in 19th-century France will step on Broadway next year, March 2014.
The soundtrack of the Oscar-nominated movie "Les Miserables" climbed to the top spot in the UK albums chart, the first film cast recording to do so since Madonna's "Evita" in 1997, the Official Charts Company said on Sunday.
"Les Miserables" won the Golden Globe on Sunday for the best movie musical.
The soundtrack to the big screen adaption of Broadway musical "Les Miserables" topped the Billboard 200 album chart on Wednesday, edging out British folk rockers Mumford & Sons.
