Joey Fatone is returning to the New York City theater scene, joining the cast of Broadway's "& Juliet."

Fatone, who is one of the founding members of hit 90s boy band NSYNC, has teamed up with songwriter and producer Max Martin over the years.

He will play Lance Du Bois in the Tony-nominated production, which is set to open on January 21, 2025, and run through March 16, 2025.

According to a press release, the singer-actor said, "I'm excited that I'll be joining the cast of & Juliet!"

"I can't wait to get out there and sing Max Martin's amazing songs — his hits have shaped so much of pop music. And yes, I know I'll even be singing a couple of Backstreet Boys songs. Even though my loyalty remains with NSYNC, they still have bangers. See you at the show!"

The story of "Romeo and Juliet" takes a new turn in "& Juliet," exploring the aftermath of Juliet's decision to embrace life and love beyond the tragic ending with Romeo.

This modern take comes to life through a playlist packed with classic pop hits from artists like the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Britney Spears, Kesha, Katy Perry, and more.

Fatone made his Broadway debut as Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors" back in 2004 and as Mark in "Rent" in 2002.
