"Wicked" star Dee Roscioli is set to board the highly acclaimed, Off-Broadway musical comedy "Titanique" in the role of Céline Dion starting in April 3 at the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York.
Roscioli will replace the current lead, Nicole Parker, also known for her stint in "Wicked" and "Mad TV," in the stage satire of the classic movie "Titanic." Parker's last performance is slated for the production's March 31 showing.
Currently performing besides Parker's Céline Dion in the musical are Lindsay Heather Pearce as Rose, Michael Williams as Jack, Elliott Mattox (Beetlejuice) as Victor Garber, Russell Daniels (Gutenberg! The Musical) as Ruth, Brandon Contreras as Cal, Anne Fraser Thomas as The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and Marcus Antonio as The Iceberg.
Also involved in the musical's company are Sara Gallo, Chani Maisonet, Tess Marshall, Garrett Poladian, and Terrence Williams Jr.

About the Off-Broadway 'Titanique' Musical
The musical parody of the Oscar-winning film is in itself multi-award winning, bagging the Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Leading Performer in a Musical, and Outstanding Costume Design in 2023.
In addition, "Titanique" also won the 2023 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Musical and achieved similar honors during the Dorian Awards and Las Culturistas Culture Awards ceremonies.
The production satirizes the plotline of the film it is based on and revolves around the narrative of Céline Dion commandeering a tour at the Titanic Museum, delivering her own hilarious version of what "really" occurred in the RMS Titanic that night.
Appropriately, at least considering the musical's comedic nature, the show includes versions of the singer's famed ballads from the movie like "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "To Love You More," all performances of which are backed by a boisterous live band.
The musical satire is co-written by Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli alongside production director Tye Blue. Nicholas Connell, on the other hand, was in charge of music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations.
Other members of the creative team include choreographer Ellenore Scott, scene designers Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Iron Bloom Creative Production's Grace Lauchbacher, costume designer Alejo Vietti, lighting designer Paige Seber, sound designer Lawrence Schober, wig designer Tommy Kurzman, and prop designer Eric Reynolds.
Casting for the production was handled by Rachel Hoffman, Henry Russell Bergstein, and Andrew Fern on behalf of The Telsey Office.
