The newly fat Channing Tatum's amazingly understanding wife Jenna Dewan, from Witches of East End fame, has allowed her hard working hubby to gain weight in his time off, because she knows that he will have to drop the pounds to fit in with the rest of the Magic Mike 2 cast before shooting begins. The real trick says the actress is finding time for the couple to spend alone with their new daughter dominating so much of the schedules.
Channing Tatum has clearly packed on a few extra pounds since Magic Mike first premiered, but what do you expect from a man who has been running himself ragged with work these last three years?
Channing has recently dubbed himself fappy for "very fat and happy," but his wife Henna described it to Life & Style as more rest and recuperation than wanton downtime indulgence:
"I'm happy for him, because he's been working non-stop for three years.
"I'm like, 'Yes, enjoy yourself!'"
The real challenge is recent weeks hasn't Channing's weight gain as much as the exhaustion of raising their new daughter Everly.
Jenna Told Life & Style that they are all about the baby most of the time, but every now and then they need a few hours to just be together:
"We have to be like, 'Tonight is our night! We have a babysitter; we're going out!'
"You have to make your relationship as much a probity as your child."
Just because they are sometime completely wiped out form all the hard work, doesn't mean Jenna is ready to call it quits at one and done.
Dewan told Us Weekly that she and Channing will definitely like more children in the future, but only when they could manage it:
"You burn so many extra calories a day!--chasing around Everly and holding her all day long.
"I do want to have more kids if it's in the cards for us, but right now we're trying to get into the groove and enjoy our little baby that we have now.
"We'll see what the future has in store for us!"
If raising that baby is such a workout, maybe it would do Channing some good, if she put Everly down and let him chase her around the house.
