ABC Modern Family's hot mama, Instagram beauty Sofia Vergara has announce her split from former fiancé Nick Loeb, just a week or so after the Season 5 gay wedding finale. Rumors have been circulating for months that there were serious problems with the couple's relationship, despite the topless near-nude bikini model's talking about the impending marriage on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show a couple of months back. It seems like Sofia may have put off breaking the news that the engagement had been cancelled, in order not to take away from Jesse Tayler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet's touching on-air romance.
News of Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb's breakup is seemingly as real this time as the sunshine.
The Columbian draw dropper made the official announcement on her WhoSay page, putting to rest any contradicting stories about the statures of her relationship to boyfriend Nick Loeb:
"In order not to give the press the chance to invent crazy and harmful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart.
"We are still close but we believe [this] is the best thing for us right now."
But according to an insider in In Touch Magazine, things were a little more problematic than Sofia let on, when she blamed there breakup solely on scheduling conflicts and work dramas:
"In September, he was hitting on Jessica Alba at a party in the Hamptons to the point where he traded seats with someone else to be near her.
"He rolled his eyes when someone asked about Sofia.
"So Sofia read him the riot act about their bicoastal relationship no longer working and her constant fear of him cheating- -and told him she was done.
"Nick's temper caused constant humiliation for Sofia...Now, she's relieved to finally be rid of four years of man trouble."
Too bad for Sofia life can't be an idyllic as it is on network sitcoms, but there is little doubt that she will have her pick from any number of eligibly suitors, once word gets out that she is back on the market.
"Not that anyone should care."
