TLC ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Banned From 'Tonight Show' After Family Feud: Alana Assaults Mom June? [VIDEO UPDATE]

TLC family of Georgia rednecks is causing havoc on both sides of the Atlantic according to the latest tabloid gossip reports. First Honey Boo Boo was effectively banned from airing in Britain as is--the producers have had to edit out obscene language to make the show compliant with the regulations of its 8 o'clock time slot. Now word is getting out that a family feud on the set of Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show drew a visceral reaction from the audience and warranted an actual scolding from Mr. Nice himself. Rumor has it that, though it was cut from the aired TV episode, Alana assaulted her mom June. Some eyewitnesses, however, contradict the bawdy account, claiming that it was never as dramatic as all that.

There is no arguing that the Thompson family from TLC Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is a wild bunch t say the very least.

But that doesn't mean that Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon was prepared to let anything fly on his late night program.

During her June 11, appearance on the show 8-year-old Alana seemed the picture of innocence and sweetness, but audience member Christy O'Shoney, a supposed journalist, told In Touch that was all done in the editing room:

"Alana was fed up and actually struck [her mother] Mama June."

Christy goes on the claim that Jimmy reacted by admonishing Alana for her bad behavior to which, "the audience erupted in applause."

The only problem with that story is another member of the audience that day also told In Touch that nothing that wild ever happened:

"[Alana] shooed her mom away when she said something embarrassing.

"She did not slap or strike her."

No one is arguing about the 5 "F-bombs", the "bitch" and the "shit" they heard the other night at * o'clock in England however.

According to the Hollywood Reporter Disney Communications dropped the ball when they failed to abide by the British broadcasting watershed rules:

"The most offensive language must not be broadcast before the watershed.

"Offensive language must not be broadcast before the watershed...unless it is justified by the context. In any event, frequent use of such language must be avoided before the watershed.

"Discovery accepted immediately that this program breached rules 1.14 and 1.16, apologized and took various steps after the broadcast to ensure it was not shown again before it was re-edited and to improve compliance going forward."

Well...if England is pretending to be offended that always means you are on the right track.

And don't worry about those little Brits that watched the unedited program; they'll being calling the mothers "c--ts" to their faces along with the rest of their countrymen soon enough.
