Montana's Helena Symphony Orchestra, led by music director Allen R. Scott, will spice up their annual 'Symphony Under the Stars' next weekend with a tribute to Broadway music. Kentucky Opera announced today its appointment of Ian Derrer as the company's new general director. The nomination comes a year after the death of Kentucky Opera's previous director, David Roth. Roth had served in the directorial post since 2006.
