'The AFC West May Be Locked, But Kansas City and San Diego Are Still Up For A Fight
The San Diego Chargers, after getting out to an impressive 5-1 start this year, have dropped two games in a row. Their 5-game winning streak was stopped by a deceptively able Kansas City Chiefs squad, and then they ran into Hurricane Peyton and the Broncos fresh off of Manning's record-breaking performance against San Francisco last Sunday. So, in less than one week, The Chargers have become a 5-3 team. But somebody better keep an eye on Kansas City Chiefs, because excluding their embarrassing season opener loser to the Titans, the Chiefs are looking like a solid competitor looking to steal second place in the AFC West late in the season. -
'Did Russell Wilson Have Percy Harvin Fired Because of Racial Tension?
Russell Wilson, who may as well be the face of the NFL right now despite his team's shocking 3-3 start, hangs out with white guys and does tons of commercials. He is, let's be honest, treated like a white guy by the media. In light of the Percy Harvin trade, rumors have begun to circulate that this is kind of a problem for some members of the Seahawks. Is there an element of racial tension amongst Seahawks teammates? Is the locker room divided between Russell Wilson supporters and an anti-Wilson faction who feel that he's not "black enough"?
