‘Star Wars’ J.J.Abrams Cancelled ‘Revolution’ Series Finale Spoilers After ‘Almost Human’ Netflix Renewal Rumors

SPOILER ALERT: 'Star Wars Episode 7' director J.J. Abrams didn’t have much luck on the small screen this year. Three show’s produced by the geek king have been canceled. Tonight NBC’s 'Revolution' airs its series finale. The series is joining Believe and 'Almost Human' on the list of failed J.J.Abrams 2014 shows. However, 'Almost Human' may find some new life. An online petition to renew the show is gaining some ground, and has even drawn the attention of Netflix.

Abrams just had three of his most recent TV shows canceled, NBC’s ‘Revolution’ and ‘Believe’ and Fox’s ‘Almost Human.’ However, their hits have propelled both men to geek icons, despite their tragic misses. Whedon became the new Mr. Marvel, and Abrams got ‘Lost’ in space with ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Star Wars.’ Now that ‘Star Wars Episode 7’ has its cast, Abrams is having to hand over the keys to the Enterprise.
