'New Jean Valjean John Owen-Jones Performing Carnegie Hall For New York Pops Concert

John Owen-Jones is not just joining the cast of 'Les Miserables' as the new Jean Valjean on Broadway, but he is also making his way to Carnegie Hall. The former 'Phantom of the Opera' lead will be joining The New York Pops orchestra to help them celebrate the big three-three as part of the New York Pops 33rd Birthday Gala Do You Hear the People Sing concert event on Monday, May 2, 2016.

The good folks at Carnegie Hall seem to agree. The New York Pops will be honoring the famed conductor/composer in an all new concert, The Music of John Williams: From Spielberg to Star Wars. Under the direction of conductor Steven Reineke, the NY Pops will be performing some of Williams classic’s from 'Jurassic Park,' 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,' 'Raiders of the Lost Ark,' and everything 'Star Wars' from 'A New Hope' to 'Force Awakens.'
