‘Beauty and the Beast’ New Episodes Premiere Date and ‘Star Crossed’ Cancellation Rumors

The CW has it’s fair share of hits show including: ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Arrow,’ and ‘Supernatural’ just to name a few. However, the network has a couple of bombs on it’s as well. ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and Star Crossed are two of those show’s that have devoted fans but poor ratings. ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is gearing up to return with all new episodes for a summer season consisting of the second half of Season 2. Although things are not looking good as far a third season are concerned. Meanwhile, it is also looking like ‘Star Crossed’ might be canceled.

It has been reported that problems with budget negotiations could cause the long-running show to be cancelled. However, there are still a few episodes in this season, and the show is not going out without a bang. Former cast member B.D. Wong will be reprising his role in the season finale. Meanwhile, ‘SVU’ newcomer Donal Logue has been promoted to recurring character. Logue will also star as Det. Harvey Bullock in Fox’s upcoming Batman prequel series, ‘Gotham.’
