‘Almost Human’ Netflix Renewal Petition Update and ‘Firefly’ Style Movie Rumors After Fox Cancellation [INTERVIEW]
Tis the season for cancellations. Every network is currently cleaning house to make room for new shows. Fox has just recently announced the cancellations of several shows, including: 'Dads,' 'Enlisted' and 'Surviving Jack.' However, out of the networks cancellations, fans are taking the loss of 'Almost Human' the hardest. The J.J. Abrams produced futuristic cop-drama has some very devoted fans who have started a petition to save the series. The round robin online plea has reached it’s goal of 15,000 signatures and will keep moving forward towards a new goal. The petition is being to set to various networks for consideration, including Netflix, Amazon and HBO. We recently spoke to the lead petitioner, Megan Riffey, about the petition as well the 'Firefly' like movie possibilities and her choice of Karl Urban or Michael Ealy.
