Garrison Keillor Leaving ‘Prairie Home Companion’: Chris Thile Confirmed As New Host [NPR]

It is official. Garrison Keillor the long host of 'A Prairie Home Companion' will be stepping down. Keillor has handpicked his successor, Mandolin Man, Chris Thile. Thile recently confirmed that he will be taking over the NPR radio broadcast/live show. Keillor will stay on part time to insure a smooth transition and possibly lend his voice to his character Guy Noir.
