Baltimore Mayor Promises Body Camera for Police by End of Year [FREDDIE GRAY]

Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts admitted on Friday that the police should have gotten Freddie Gray, the young man who died while in police custody after suffering a broken spine, medical treatment sooner.However, the events leading up to Freddie Gray’s death, are still a mystery. Neither the van that Gray was transported in or the any of the six officers involved his arrest were equipped with camera. Now Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has promised that Baltimore cops will be equipped with body cameras by the end of the year.
