Director Shinji Higuchi confirmed there are two Attack on Titan live-action films in the works for a summer 2015 release in Japan, following Subaru Forester commercial release. Currently filming on Hashima Island and in Nagasaki Prefecture, the script was written by Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods’ Yuusuke Watanabe together with Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama and film critic Tomohiro Machiyama.
