WWE Battleground Recap Part 1: Fandango Vs. Adam Rose Funkadactyls Get Funky
Last night's Pay-Per-View WWE Battleground was a solid night of rasslin', and some pretty good storytelling, too. As always, no PPV event is perfect, but it was a solid step toward SummerSlam next month. The pre-show "kickoff" featured two matches and a wealth of video segments and predictions from announcers and analysts, per usual, but it was definitely worth tuning in early because Adam Rose showed up with his Exotic Express, on his birthday no less! He squared off against Fandango, who has been having all manner of women troubles. Also, in the Divas division, former Funkadactyls partners Cameron and Naomi finally faced each other after their nasty split a few weeks ago. And they got funky! Ex-Warriors Coach Mark Jackson Street Corner Preaching After Golden State Fired Him For Steve Kerr? [VIDEO]
Jobless evangelist Mark Jackson is taking the gospel to the streets lately after getting fired back in May. The ex-head coach of the Golden State Warriors was recently spotted preaching the Golden Rule. Jackson, who is actually a minister in LA, participated in a worldwide call for every Christian to go out and spread the gospel for at least an hour on July 5. With Jackson so fervently preaching on the street corner, did his faith rub people on the Warriors the wrong way? It will be interesting to see if new coach Steve Kerr is so enthusiastic about discussing religion in the locker room.
