Tony Gwynn, Sr. is dead at the age of 54. Gwynn passed away on Monday after a long but private battle with mouth cancer. One of the most beloved figures in sports history, a tearful obituary was delivered that day by Keith Olberman. And now the MLB will be releasing an informational video about smokeless tobacco, namely chewing tobacco, including a message from Gwynn from beyond the grave. The anti-tobacco ad, it is hoped, will deter young players from getting into the dangerous and addictive habit. Earlier in the month comedian Tracy Morgan was severely injured when a Wal-Mart tractor-trailer truck crashed into his limo-bus on the New Jersey turnpike. The crash tragically took the life of Morgan’s friend and writer James “Jimmy Mack” McNair. Now, there is some good news for Morgan. After facing rumors that he lost his leg in the accident, Morgan is starting to back on his feet (both of them) and is being moved into a rehab facility.
