'Thor: The Dark World' News: 'Avengers' Joss Whedon Saves The Day, Writes For Movie [UPDATE]
Forget Billy Baston, Joss Whedon is the new Captain Marvel. The writer/director has taken the lead on several Marvel projects, including 2012's 'The Avengers,' the upcoming 'Avengers: The Age of Ultron' and the ABC TV series, 'Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.' Now it has been revealed that he also had a hand in writing 'Thor: The Dark World.' Director Alan Taylor in a recent interview with SFX, shed some light on just how Whedon saved 'The Dark World.' Disney Schedule Shake Ups: Pixar Puts Off 'The Good Dinosaur,' "Finding Dory,'and Marvel's 'Antman'
There have recently been some major shake ups with Disney's upcoming 2014-2016 movie schedules. The studio previously announced that it will be pushing back 'Pirates of the Caribbean V,' and putting Marvel's 'Antman' in it's place. Now the company is dealing with it's animation studio Pixar, having to put off release dates for its forthcoming films, 'The Good Dinosaur' and 'Finding Dory.'
