Johnny Ball And Chain? Manziel New Girlfriend Admitting Rookie Mistakes[RUMORS] [INSTAGRAM]
Johnny Football may be Johnny Ball and Chain after the Cleveland Browns' rookie quarterback Manziel has been publicly linked to TCU student Colleen Crowley for several weeks, leading many news outlets to loudly speculate whether the two are dating. Sure, they look pretty cozy, but this is Johnny Football we're talking about here. Of course it would help his image. The notorious 21 year-old party animal has recently admitted to making some rookie mistakes and seems intent on proving all his haters wrong. Maybe his new girlfriend is a sign that he's settling down? Or at least getting the critics off his back for two seconds.
Manziel has had a target on his back since the day he was drafted into the NFL. The number of detractors since that day seems to have swollen exponentially as Manziel flaunted his lifestyle in their faces.
Recently though, he took a softer stance and admitted that he might have handled himself a little better (via NBC Sports):
"Of his 'rookie mistakes,' Manziel said: 'There's some things I wish I could have gone back and done a little differently, but (I'm) continuing to move forward and try to represent this organization and this team in a positive manner and in a positive light.'"
One thing Manziel has done that seems like a good PR move, at least, is getting serious about one girl. From the looks of his Instagram account lately, it certainly looks like he and Crowley are pretty cozy, although Manziel hasn't made any official statements yet (via Sports World News):
"Photos of Manziel and Crowley together in Houston and at a Boston Red Sox game have surfaced recently, but Manziel has been photographed with a number of women this year that it was difficult to determine whether those were dates or just two people taking a picture together."
