Matthew McConaughey has seen major success early into the New Year with his latest HBO series True Detective. And his performance in Dallas Buyers Club was truly transformative.

In fact, McConaughey is known for his charisma as an actor on both film and television.

Which makes his pretty blase interview with "Andy Warhol" in the most recent issue of Interview so disappointing.

His apperances and cameos in various productions have pushed Matty Mac into the limelight, famous among other A-listers in the industry for a certain Southern-fried je ne sais brah.

Which makes us wonder: Was the original stoner just L-I-V-I-N it up in the transcript below?

Intimate? Maybe. Stimulating? Not hardly.

Life, craft, dreams and favorite food--yeah, you'll find those answers in the exchange. But you won't find too much more.

Totes Andy, amirite?

Alright, alright, alright...check out their back 'n' forth from Interview Magazine.
