Lounge Lizard and iconic TV personality John Lurie will have an exclusive premiere with the Cavin-Morris Gallery from Sept. 18 to Oct. 25 with his latest exhibition: John Lurie: There Are Things You Don't Know About.
If you are not in the know, Lurie is a big player in the downtown New York City jazz scene and has maintained prolificacy over the years with his various productions. Most recently, he was honored with an exemplary tribute during the Strange and Beautiful: The Music and Art of John Lurie festival.
A most inspiring gala, it honored Lurie and his art, stopping by various downtown dwellings, including (Le) Poisson Rouge. Now, he is making his way through the Cavin-Morris Gallery in NYC.
The exhibition continues until Oct. 25 and is a must-see for any Lurie-head.
