Engaged Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Split: Net Worth Safe After Would-Be Wife Divorce Rage?” [NEWS UPDATE]

Johnny Depp may have bigger problems than just his inability to read a teleprompter without sounding like he has a head injury. The Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas actor's fiancé is reportedly ready to call off their engagement and split thanks to 51-year-old sex-symbol's embarrassing profanity laden speech at the Hollywood Film awards last week. According to the latest gossip news updates, Amber Heard, knows that Depp was too drunk to take the stage and is contemplating calling of the wedding in lieu of marrying a sad old drunk. If the Hollywood actor and the 28-year-old blonde bombshell are having problems, Johnny should let her go now, instead of losing half his net worth in some ugly divorce trial. After all, the only bigger pain in the butt than an ex-girlfriend is an ex-wife.

Last week when Johnny Depp took the stage to present the award for Mike Myer's Supermensch: The Legand of Shep Gordon, it didn't go unnoticed.

At the time it seemed like Depp was either very drunk or deep in the throes of a mild stroke, though an eyewitness that spoke in Star Magazine's December 1, issue claimed it was all the former and none of the latter:

"Johnny was extremely drunk.

"There were times when he had to have someone have someone help him stand.

"Ha couldn't say a complete sentence -- he made no sense."

A source explained In Touch latest print edition that Depp has somehow convinced himself that his drinking high's and low's don't constitute a problem, but his friends and families don't exactly agree with his logic:

"Johnny's been down this road many times, but he's never made such a spectacle of himself on life TV.

"He'll quit cold turkey for a while and that makes him think he doesn't have a problem.

"But his friends and family are worried."

Johnny explained in Rolling Stone that his drinking was never a real-life addiction so much as an aid in navigating the trapeze act of life (via NY Daily News):

"I don't have the physical need for the drug alcohol.

"No, it's more my medication, my self-medication over the years just to calm the circus.

"Once the circus kicks in, the festivities in the brain, it can be ruthless."

When you take in account that that is what Johnny Depp sounds like when he is stone sober...that speech at the Hollywood Film Awards wasn't all that bad really.
