Russell Wilson has impressed fans everywhere during his short time in the NFL. He seems to make headlines frequently for outstanding performances and overall stats. Yet, at the end of last year, he landed himself in the hot seat for a controversial and unexpected divorce form Ahston Meem. Now, he has caught the public's eye again, and this time the focus is on his new girl and her...prominent features.
From the moment Wilson entered the realm of professional sports, he has made waves. With the issuing of his contract, Russell's signed on to the Seahawk's squad with a 4-year, $2.99 million deal.
In his rookie year, Wilson led his team to the post-season and even earned himself a $222,000 performance based bonus.
The following year was his most impressive season to date. He led Seattle to a 13-3 win loss ration in the regular season, and, of course, to a blow out Super Bowl victory.
Since then, however, it has been Wilson's personal life that has fans on the edge of their seats. According to Seattle Weekly, Russell Wilson and Ashton Meem surprised everyone with the news of their divorce:
"His decision to split from his wife of two years, 26-year-old Ashton Meem Wilson, was difficult, he said. Wilson asked his fans for 'prayers, understanding, and privacy,' and said he'd have no further comment. The public and media weren't sure they'd heard right. The 25-year-old athlete, who has in his two years with the team cultivated family values and a deeply Christian persona, [was leaving his wife]?"
Now, Russell's divorce has been finalized, and according to the Daily Caller, Wilson is handling the separation well:
"Wilson has had mountains of success off the field as well. After finalizing a divorce during the off-season, Russ has been one of Seattle's most eligible free-agent bachelors, and his latest, alleged love interest will leave you speechless."
The site claims that they, "can't seem to find definitive proof that Wilson and Ms. Phat are actually romantically involved, but...her backside is without a doubt mind blowing...that thing's so massive it probably has its own gravitational field..."
