Floyd Mayweather Jr. Drama Update:After Multiple Scandals, Manny Pacquiao Confrontation Disappointingly Civil

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has taken over the sport of boxing. He is known equally for his skill inside the ring and for his nefarious activities on the streets. Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao recently met at a Miami Heat- Milwaukee Bucks basketball game. The interaction was uncharacteristically peaceful, and some fans were disappointed. It seemed strange, because Mayweather is notorious for trash talking.

Floyd is currently undefeated as a professional and is a champion in five different divisions. He has a total of ten world titles, and they span across four different weight classes.

The brute has an impressive 47 wins, and 26 of those were knockouts.

He is also known for running his mouth and being involved in drama. However, he has shown time and time again that he can put his money where his mouth is.

Now, Mayweather is set to take on the most challenging bout of his life, Manny Pacquiao. Reportedly, the two actually just met for the first time, and according to ESPN, fans were let down by the civil confrontation:

"Hours after a public face-to-face meeting and brief discussion during halftime of Tuesday night's Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks game in Miami, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. met privately [about] their proposed May 2 mega-fight. The halftime meeting, which Pacquiao said was the first time he and fellow welterweight champion Mayweather Jr. met, resulted in an exchange of phone numbers and lit up social media as sports fans continued to hope this latest twist would get them closer to fighting each other."

As previously stated, trash talking is a large part of Mayweather's image.

So, it was quite strange to seem him act uncharacteristically. According to Complex, the champ has attacked many, including the entire sport of MMA:

"Floyd 'Money' Mayweather [is] boxing's most controversial and profitable fighter-[He] has become just as famous for the quotes, controversies and insults that he's delivered outside of the ring, as for the punishment he's administered inside. Everyone from Oscar De La Hoya to Rick Ross to Floyd Mayweather, Sr. have been victims of verbal jabs from Money Mayweather. [For example,] Mayweather has summed up MMA as a barbaric sport which can't be taken seriously..."

What do you think? Will Mayweather keep his untarnished record? Or, will Manny be the one to finally put an end to his tyrannical reign? Let us know in the comment section below.
