If Calvin Harris supposedly gets his way he will soon be putting the rumors that Taylor Swift is really secretly dating her Victoria's Secret girlfriend, Karlie Kloss, to rest for good. According to the latest gossip news updates, the DJ is working hard to prove to the '1989' singer that he's boyfriend material, and word has it that it is working. Whatever happens to Taylor, at least she can rest easy knowing that she has Meredith Grey looking out for her. After the "Blank Space" social media devotee posted a picture of a pet induced injury to Instagram, Grey's Anatomy's own Ellen Pompeo reached out to Swift to give her some advice on caring for the wound.
To get Taylor Swift's attention any man worth his salt knows that he's going to have to pull out all the stops, and so supposedly has Calvin Harris in his quest to make Taylor Swift his girlfriend.
According to a behind-the-scenes source speaking in the April 6, issue of OK! Magazine, Calvin was smart enough to know that if he really wanted to get to Taylor, he had to first win over her friends:
"Calvin is out to impress her, so he chartered a private jet for Taylor and her friend so she could see him play."
Surprisingly, the spy claims that the practically celibate pop star actually found the over-the-top move charming:
"All she could do is talk about how amazing he is.
"She's smitten...this is the first guy she's been really interested in in a very long time.
"She thinks Calvin is not only talented but incredibly sexy."
Of course if Taylor and Calvin do get together he will have to learn to accept the animal lover's many cats, who still have a habit of getting a little violent -- as proven by the gnarly scratch Swift recently posted to Instagram:

Being that Taylor is such a big fan that she named her cat after her iconic character on Grey's Anatomy, Ellen Pompeo reached out to offer her condolences as well as her expert medical advice (via MStarz):
"This is awkward because my namesake did this but as your doctor please keep that scratch clean! Yours truly, the real Dr. Grey."
The real questions is: What is Calvin Harris really prepared to do to impress those blood thirsty cats?
