Some folks might consider the chance to meet Taylor Swift every time they take the elevator in the building to be an apartment's selling point, but apparently Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlanda Bloom isn't one of them. According to the latest gossip news update, the Lord of the Rings' Hobbit couldn't take all the attention constantly surrounding the '1989' singer and her luxe penthouse, so he sold his place in NYC for a whopping 5.5 million dollars. In a related story, Bloom is said to be once again sleeping with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, like they are on their honeymoon, but word has it that aren't officially dating. It's even been postulated that the recent intimacy is the couple's way of fostering better communication since their divorce.
While it could be argued that Orlando Bloom is just desperate to be the most famous person in his apartment building, the elf actor insists that he prefers to keep a very low profile when out and about tending to his daily life (via In Touch):
"I tend to keep my hat on and my eyes down."
It's for that reason that NY Daily News seems to suppose that Orlando recently chose to sell his NYC bachelor-pad located in Taylor Swift's now very popular building.
For a man that longs for privacy when not on the set, Taylor's presence wasa disruption that no amount of hat pulling and shoe gazing was ever going to be able to oercome:
"The shutterbugs and fans came to gander at Swift and her A-list pals, including regulars such as Selena Gomez and Karlie Kloss, but other visitors Beyonce, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake."
Or course, Orlando might soon not even need his own apartment in New York the way things are going with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

According to an informant who spoke to OK! Magazine, Bloom has been getting together with the former Victoria's Secret supermodel at any and every opportunity afforded him (via Hollywood Life):
"[Miranda and Orlando] enjoying hooking up whenever the mood and opportunity strikes."
If Orlando and Miranda were thinking about getting back together it would make sense that Kerr wouldn't want him anywhere nears Selena Gomez or her "Blank Space" bestie's crib.
