In addition to Kim Richards sobriety clearly falling victim to the pressures of shooting Season 5 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it has also seemingly destroyed her relationship to sister and fellow Bravo cast member, Kyle Richards, According to the latest gossip news updates, Brandi Glanville's bestie has entered rehab but is still not talking to her sister -- insisting their relationship has been severely damaged by the strain of TV show. Despite her willingness to enter treatment for addiction as suggested, the reality producers are said to be already looking for Kim's potential 2015 replacement.
While it, of course, seems long overdue, Kim Richards is said to finally have entered rehab after getting arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel earlier in the month for a slew of small crimes related to her being drunk in public.
According to Radar Online, Kim is indeed in a rehab facility, but it often looks unlikely that she will be able to see her treatment all the way through to its conclusion:
Last weekend, the troubled reality star entered a rehab treatment facility for substance abuse issues and since then has been finding excuses -- like her beloved [but dangerous] pit bull Kingsley -- to leave.
A behind-the-scenes production spy explained to Radar that it was that kind of flakey behavior that convinced Bravo producers to start looking for a new Beverly Hills Housewife befor Season 6 starts shooting:
"No one knew whether or not Kim was going to adhere to their guidelines and remain completely sober.
"She gave so much fuss about the sobriety clause they wanted added to her contract that there was really know way of knowing her next move."
"[The Producers] are basically trying to save face, but ultimately they don't really care all too much if she stays on the show or goes.
"She would not be the first prominent housewife to get the axe and she definitely will not be the last."
That is their only smart move claims Kim's ex-husband and former Beverly Hills costar, Ken Blumenfeld, who has no problem letting the whole world know that you would have to be a fool to believe one word that ever comes out of Kim Richards mouth:
"She can make you believe anything and anybody will believe what she says.
"She's the best actress I ever met."
"I've never seen anything like it."
Sadly, Kim admits that his relationship with her sister, Kylie, is only marginally better than the non-relationship she has with her ex:
"She actually texted me after my arrest for the first time in five months
"She asked me if I was OK.
"I haven't spoken to her; it's been a bad year for us."
Perhaps, it would be better for everyone if Kim Richards just focused on rekindling her acting career and sober...and let Brandi Glanville and Lisa Rinna hold the title of Bravo's worst drunk for a season or two.
