Rumors that Kate Gosselin may have cheated with her married bodyguard returned this week. According to a new report, TLC has denied claims that they assisted Kate in covering up the alleged affair. Meanwhile, ex-husband Jon Gosselin recently landed one hell of a celebrity DJ gig.
Although Kate Gosselin adamantly denied having an affair with Steve Neild, numerous media outlets have reported that the two have been intimate in the past.
In fact, when a tabloid called the hotel room of Steve Neild, Kate Gosselin actually answered the phone, leading many to suggest that the two were sharing a bed.
Now, months after the allegations first surfaced, a new report claims TLC wasn't just aware of the affair, they covered up the scandal:
"Although the two have long been the subject of nasty rumors, no one has been able to secure concrete evidence confirming their affair. That is until an unidentified paparazzi was able to take snaps of the couple getting intimate in Mexico. Nonetheless, according to an insider, TLC made sure that they got to the evidence even before the media did...The network quickly denied these claims but the insider asserted that TLC paid off the anonymous photographer."
The negative attention surrounding Kate these days is so intense that it seems like Jon Gosselin is actually faring better in the press than his ex-wife.
In fact, the onetime reality star seems to have made a complete 180, as a new report suggests Jon's celebrity DJ business has really taken off.
According to TMZ, Jon recently landed $20,000 for just one set:
"One of the 3 people who caught Jon Gosselin DJing at a New Jersey bowling alley last month were lucky...because he just got offered a $20k gig in Atlantic City...According to our club sources, Jon's spinning his way up the ladder fast...And he won't have to spend 5 hours around pins and funky shoes...he'll only spin for an hour before spending another hour or so meeting his loyal fans."
